Back for Round 2 @ KLSV

Hey all, I made a topic on 21-1 about a month ago featuring some cool heavies like the B-2 and KC-135, this time the fighters were more active! Today being the last day for Red Flag 21-2 until the next one in August. Luckily this time, the runway was open so right breaks were in commence over the spotters. Enjoy!

The first wave arrives with the VAQ-134 Growlers (EA/18) that are based in Whidbey Island, these are always a treat to spot! 🙃

Many F-16’s from the Fighting 55th Squadron arrived but here’s one in the special “Checkered” livery!

Another Fighting 55th in their regular livery 🤠

A special treat as the B-1B Bomber (Bone) arrives, an awesome flyover for a right break landing!

Getting a great 🤟🏼 from the Wraith!

An F-15E Eagle Strike from Mountain Home, ID.

Another special heavy, FOCUS31 (E-3 Sentry) on the tightest break of the day hence the backlight 👏🏼

To finish the day, MacDill AFB’s KC-135 arrives after refueling on 21R.

Sweet pictures! EA-18’s are not actually based at North Island (I wish they were), That one is based at Whidbey Island, Washington. But hey the bases both have “island” in them haha, Great pics!

We have seen changes in @Kamryn. But this is definitely a big one. A LAS spotter now an LSV spotter.
