Back at KBUR

So, if you read the title, you already know what this is about. But in case you don’t — Burbank is a Class Charlie airport, so we don’t see too many large aircraft, especially heavies. That’s why it’s always a big deal when one shows up. The most common heavies we get are the FedEx 767 and the occasional C-17 when the president is in town. I’ve even heard rumors about C-5s landing here recently — that would be my holy grail!

I made the trip out to the airport, getting pelted by rain the whole way. But by the grace of the aviation gods, the rain stopped just in time, and I managed to get the shot below.

Great job! Love that FedEx 767. Ah… I wish it would have gotten reworked. Maybe next year

Very nice! I miss Burbank. By far my favorite airport in the western US to fly in and out of!

This is the biggest crime since the Copa livery wasn’t added with the MAX 8. I’d even go so far as to say its even bigger.

As it should be .

Honestly, screw LAX. @Dan should have the IF meetup at KBUR we have better plane spotting views cause of the super low approach.

Yeah but you don’t have as much traffic or variety as LAX

You don’t like Southwest, Alaska, United, Delta, American, Spirit, Frontier, JSX, Avelo, and plenty of private jets? You’re right tho, I just want Burbank to have its time in the sun :smiling_face_with_tear:. You should come sometime and check it out!

The Avelo livery is underrated - more airlines should try and include the more unique colours on their liveries!
