I don’t know if I’m the only user who experiences this frequently or not, but whenever I do a long-haul flight on the B748 when I’m on final approach and I turn off A/P the aircraft starts to bank left, leading to me crashing.
Typical example:
I did a flight from SCL to MIA and when I was on final the same thing happened, I used to think maybe the aircraft was too heavy, but my load was at 40% going at around 170kts and still crashed
Is this a fault with the aircraft or there’s something that I’m doing wrong?
I had the same issue. I could solve the issue: Try to go “Settings” 》“Controls” 》“Roll” try to turn left and right with your device. If you turn the device to the right the orange line should go to the right also. If it turn to the wrong direction press “Invert”.
When you turn your device upside down the screen turns also - the controls in IF doesnt change. You have to calibrate it manually in the settings
I was on expert server, and you can’t check your fuel levels on your tanks mid flight and the lack of an animated cockpit doesn’t make things easier either.
Hi, it would seem unlikely your abrupt uncontrollable bank experience would be tied to a specific aircraft’s modelling anomoly.
I would try re-testing the B748, to see if you can reliably repeat that issue. Perhaps pay special attention to your airspeed being sufficient in relation to your flap settings and weight.
If you can repeat this uncontrollable bank problem and are still puzzled by its occurrence, it would be most helpful to upload a video replay of the event.
