Hello IFC! I am currently working on a project that I’ve somehow not seen before: A working AWACS radar tool. I recently-ish joined @GLOBAL_AIRFORCE and saw that even though we have an AWACS squadron, there isn’t a tool to use them realistically. Yet. Keep in mind that this is in development and is subject to changes.
Rulers! You can now double click the right mouse button to create a ruler with distance and heading! Set it down by doing the same. If you want to pick it up, double click again.
The scope now fills the whole screen as a rectangle — no circular bezel, no clipping, and the rotating radar sweep line is gone
Press A to mark an aircraft as a squad mate (To quickly spot who is operating with you)
Press B to mark an aircraft as a threat, making it easy to see what aircraft to engage.
When clicking on an aircraft, you can see the flight plan they filed! (If any)
Buttons for the threat and ally marking have been added for those who would rather click on the screen.
A bug regarding aircraft not appearing when zoomed in at a far distance from the AWACS has been fixed.
