Victor X-ray Mike making a right turn, towards Sydney. Operating as QF 1020 from Hobart, the 160 passengers are looking forward to some warmer weather. Flight time was around 2 hours and cruising altitude was 32,000 feet.
Virgin Australia 737-800 (VH-VOL)
Velocity 1613 to Mildura making a sharp right turn after departing Melbourne. Carrying a full load of Mildura locals eager to get home after a long weekend in Melbourne. Victor Oscar Lima had to make a steeper than usual climb in order to reach their cruising altitude of 36,000 feet. This was an unusually high cruising altitude for a 45 minute flight.
Jetstar A320 (VH-VQB)
Jetstar 920 cruising at 32,000 feet. Carrying a full load of Darwin locals, waiting to get back home from the tourist hotspot of Cairns. Flight time was around 2 hours.
Delta MD-11
A close up of Engine 2 of this MD-11 as it departs San Francisco, bound for Portland. Flight time was around 1:45 with a cruising altitude of 37,000 feet.
