Technically speaking nothing wrong but i would avoid having inbound traffic at pattern altitude until they are within range just in case you have other traffic nearby and it is unclear which aircraft will be first.

1st approach[ILS]

  • Initial heading 080 was weird
    • it should’ve been 100~120, at least I should’ve vectored to enter radar pattern.

2nd approach[RV]

  • No issues :white_check_mark:

ILS:

  • Overall, the approach was pretty good, but I’m curious, why didn’t you put me on LDW instead of RDW? The clearance could’ve been issued a bit earlier. Clearance was 40 degrees, not 30.

Because my trainer suggested that I only use one pattern, even so, my tt is still a bust party.:sob:

Yeah, this is good to help avoid confusion, but it really depends on the situation. For example, you should’ve put me in LB instead of flying me past the approach path like you did. But it’s all good; keep up the good work!
