I admit being a kid and being newly discovering the aviation is wonderful experience. so what the myths about aviation you believed as a kid?
Mine is:
calling a 757 a widebody aircraft
Calling the 747 as the Boeing 777

oh. my dad saying that narrow planes cant go on far distances
because, ive been in a 737 max 8 on a flight to japan
From the United States or?..
from singapore to tokyo in silk air
oh, that is pretty far. i am sure if your dad discovers that an small aircraft like the A318 can go from London-New York i am sure he will be shocked
a 737-800 can still do that
I thought that flaps went down to make you go up and they went up in the air to make you descend.
I used to think that every airline had every type of aircraft. I wanted to fly on a Southwest 747 so bad.
the a318 is cute tbh
Did that in FSX lol
I thought planes were ghost and my dad said they were
Also the movie airplane being a documentary
I thought that the APU exhaust was where the thrust came out lol
my uncle telling me that using electronic devices makes the plane explode
-_-
Lol. i also thought that the RAM air turbine generate thrust even tho its size
I used to think that after someone visited the toilet, the sewage would be dropped out of the plane on top of people on the ground. Surely not just me!
LOL LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i died
To be honest now that I think about it, it does kind of make sense why you would’ve believed that.
I used to think the engines were on at the gate. I guess I’m not completely wrong since the APU is an engine 🤷♂️
yeah my mom told me that lol
Contrails only came from Mirage fighter jets 🤦♂️
