Pictures of in game shots belong in the Screenshots and Videos category and using other categories to bypass rules isn’t allowed so if you want to share photos, they must be in the S&Vs category and obey the rules

I can somewhat agree but my best guess for that rule is that they want the pictures to show that they were taken in game
Can’t we add a disclaimer saying the things you see here are not of infinite flight and have been done for the purposes of this photo

IMO, editing is different from adding things to the picture. Screenshots and Videos is to sho off your IF pics.

I’ve talked to Jan about it and he said the following, which I mostly agree with:
“Photoshopped photos aren’t allowed to prevent confusion about what is and isn’t part of the app.” “Of cours nobody is trying to trick anyone in thinking something, but it could st ill be confusing and literally paint a wrong picture, which could be damaging.
Even after (parts Project Metal will be ntroduced, and things will look really different, wiI st.ill not be allowed to edit 2 images and add features that aren’t in the app (yet).”
There are many people, who have found the simulator because of the forum. If people add heavily edited things, which aren’t in-app, it could confuse them and trick them into thinking that those are real features – even if that wasn’t the editor’s intention.
A new category solely for that purpose wouldn’t be good either. There aren’t many people who are interested in participating in heavily edited shots. And even if, a simulator which needs a category for heavily edited pictures speaks volumes. That will paint a bad light on the simulator without a doubt.
