C5-DEN Feedback

  • Was given a transition altitude at 5000ft, should have been 3000ft (airport elevation + 2500ft)
  • Remember to instruct “frequency change approved” after approving aircraft’s departure (you can without them asking)

Other than that, good pattern entries and sequencing. Thanks!

Hey there!
Great session today, @clk1290 and I really tested you today and you did overall pretty good.

Here is some feedback from: General 575

Ground:

  • Taxi to runway: ✅

  • Taxi to parking: ✅

Tower:

  • Takeoff / make ___ traffic: ✅

  • Cleared for the option: ✅

  • Sequencing: ✅

  • Exit runway: 🟧

Other Feedback:

  • Runway change from 32 to 5L was done perfectly
  • When @clk1290 requested change to 5L, your best option is to have the aircraft “extend upwind” and then you can sequence them for the proper traffic pattern (Left traffic for 5L) but what you did also worked
  • I believe the exit runway was sent a little late, although I wasn’t looking at that took close. Try aiming for 80-70kts
  • Since @clk1290 was on a 2nm final, you may want to include a “expedite” or “expedite traffic on final” so it alerts the pilot to get of the runway quickly and can prevent go arounds
  • Go around was caught which was good
