Avalon Airshow 2023

I know the airshow was about two months ago, but I haven’t got around to posting some pictures here yet. But now I have gotten around to it, so here you go.

First up is the Qantas A330 flyover (VH-EBA) with two RAAF hornets.

Next up is EBA parked up on the taxiway.

Next is a USAF F-22 just after takeoff.

Here’s a RAAF F-35 near the terminal complex, standing at an apron shortly before takeoff.

Here’s an F-15 parked up next to two F-22 Raptors.

Next up is a T-50B in the Black Eagle display team from the Korean Air Force.

The cockpit of a USAF KC-135.

An example display of air to air refuelling with two RAAF F-18 Super Hornets and a RAAF KC-30A (two of which, A39-006 and A39-007 are ex Qantas A330-200s, VH-EBH and VH-EBI respectively).

The Roulettes on a display run. They can be regularly seen training on FlightRadar24 at the West Sale RAAF Base.

To end this topic is a picture of a C-17 flying over the beautiful setting sun.

Thanks for viewing my photos and if you’re lucky, we might even see a topic from my recent (around a month ago) trip to Melbourne.
