Autopilot+ Not Saving Progress After Activation
Device: Samsung Galaxy A55 5G
OS Version: Android 15
Infinite Flight Version: 25.1.3
Subscription: Infinite Flight Pro
Aircraft: Airbus A380
Route: OMDB (Dubai) β WADD (Bali)
Problem Summary
While performing a long-haul flight from Dubai to Bali using the Airbus A380, I activated the new Autopilot+ feature once all the requirements were met:
- Altitude above FL280
- Autopilot properly configured (ALT, HDG, SPD)
- Stable flight path with green indicators confirming readiness
After activation:
- The Autopilot+ banner confirmed everything was set
- I exited to the main menu to let the flight continue in the background
But when I returned to Infinite Flight later, there was no option to resume the flight. It was as if the flight never existed β Autopilot+ did not save any progress.
What I Did Correctly
- Ensured stable internet connection
- Waited ~10 seconds after enabling Autopilot+ before exiting
- Used supported aircraft (A380)
- Verified all requirements were green before enabling
What Went Wrong
- No option to resume flight upon returning to main menu
- Infinite Flight did not save or retain the Autopilot+ session
Additional Info
- I have a screen recording showing the activation of Autopilot+ and my steps, available upon request.
- I suspect the issue might be related to:
- Exiting the app too soon after enabling Autopilot+
- Server-side delay in saving flight progress
- A bug for long-haul routes (OMDB β WADD)
Request
Please help confirm whether this is a known issue or if thereβs a workaround. Let me know if any flight duration minimum or waiting time is required before exiting for Autopilot+ to save.
Thanks for your help!
