Has anyone noticed that Autopilot+ shortens flight durations? My usual flight from Changi to Zurich takes around 12:30 hours, but when I came back and resumed a paused flight (with about 30 mins ETA left), it only took 11:28 hours after landing.

This is probably because AP+ does not take winds into account atm - ground speed stays locked at the last saved value before you leave the flight.

Ah that’s unfortunate🥲 I had already estimated the arrival time after exiting the game to sleep, and I was confused why it showed only 30 mins ETA under 11 hours😭 It’s kind of unrealistic to fly from Singapore to Switzerland in under 12 hours, but at least this feature helps save my ipad’s battery health!

To help with this, when you log off and let AP+ take the flight controls, your Home Screen for the app will have a timer up at the top right above your plane. This is absolutely accurate, since your ground speed will not be changing. I’d use this to plan in the future. It’s been pretty helpful for me in the past!
