This request proposes an improvement to the use of Color Tags and Reminder Timing.
When a “Hold Position” instruction is issued, the system should automatically apply a red color to both the Tag Information and the aircraft icon. This would eliminate the need for controllers to make the change manually, saving time and reducing workload—particularly in busy hubs, where controllers must maintain concentration across multiple areas and could otherwise lose focus.
The default reminder time should be set to three minutes, which represents the average time. This value can be configurable through the Settings menu.
This change would apply only to Tower and Ground frequencies.
Why change the plane Icon Color and not Only the Tag?
- Aircraft Tags can be overlapping, Aircraft Icon cant be unless an aircraft is taxing through or Close to another one.
