AutoLand Confirmed on 777!

For those of you that think using autoland is some type of cheating or such…remember this…all the airliners and the space shuttles have either had it installed or else adapted to provide for it for quite a while now…if for nothing else than if both pilots are disabled …then the several hundred people or so on board have greater odds of survival…or maybe you think like Hollywood portrayed in its Airport films that is almost guaranteed that at least one of the passengers is usually qualified and capable of landing an airliner…possible but not very likely…so l would prefer safety over glory in that circumstance anytime…

AutoLand, AutoPilot doesn’t like you up with the runway and gloss lope by itself ;)

I used to do landings with autopilot then I learned not to do that any more.

I think this may be the only plane that I will test autoland on :)
