Autobrakes system

How do I use automatic brakes?

Also in most cases for landing it’s recommended to set auto brakes to low and disable it at around 80-60kts. Then with the help of rudder brakes nd reverser you can slow down accordingly.

Even in ‘Low’ I find them a bit too aggressive and not realistic, at least in the A359.

I have watched many videos on Youtube of real A350-900 landing on EGLL 27L and even with reverse thrust, the first exit they were able to take was N6.

With 40% load, full flaps, 138kt, autobrakes set to low and only 55% reverse thrust, I already have only 30kts at N5E and can leave N5W.

With full flaps, 138kt, autobrakes set to low and no reverse thrust at all I also can leave N5W

With autobrakes set to medium, and no reverse thrust at all, I already have only 30kt at N4E, which is ridiculous.

For more realistic looking landing length and rollout, I usually land with flaps 3, 145-150kt, no autobrake and 60 to 70% reverse thrust. Then I also have to use N6 rwy exit.

I’ve no idea regarding the a350 maybe someone could help with that but for me on the a380 it’s usually around 125-140kts IAS for final approach speed and autobrakes set to low and reverser less than 50%, I would exit either at n6(less than 25kts) or n7(less than 12kts).
