Hello everyone irl I hear pilot say 60knots autobreak checked please what does this mean after landing should I turn of autobreak at 60knots ? Please explain
Auto break disconnect at 30kt if pilots don’t disconnect them manually (that mean they use manual breaking) in IF. IRL I don’t know if it’s when they disengage the reverse trigger or if there is a specific speed. But do as you want, it’s up to you.
Autobrakes are indeed cut off when the pilots apply manual brakes through the top of the pedals this helps to control the taxi and exit from runway at their discretion.
I’ve watched some YT vids sometimes i hear the automated warning “Autobrake Off!!”- i think that’s when the PF starts to step on the brake pedals where they takeover braking from the aircrafts autobrake system.
They go like this. touchdown then they callout - Spoilers, Reverse Green/Idle, .. some videos i hear a “60 knots —- checked” call out then… Manual Braking (audible: Autobrake Off) or Manual Brakes then 60 knot call out to close rev thrusts.
I like watching Approach and Departure Videos channel in YT. The captain who works with Eurowings one of my favorite cockpit videos. He has a cam thats focused on the PFD, the Sidestick, and different angles in the cockpit. You can observe some real life protocols they do. I try to imitate them on IF and its cool.
