Spotting from the Control Tower… to the Flight Deck
Some of you might remember my old series, “Spotting from the Control Tower – A Journey of IFATC.”
Back then, I shared aviation from the controller’s perspective. Looking back, I realise it was never really about controlling, it was about brining passionate aviation enthusiasts together.
Fast forward to today, and the view has changed from screen to reality! Instead of watching aircraft from the tower virtually, I’m now learning to fly them in real life!
I’m currently halfway through my Multi-Engine Rating (MEP) and, if all goes to plan, I’ll complete it by 12th August before moving straight onto my Instrument Rating (IR).
So, I thought it was the perfect time to start a new series.
This won’t just be a collection of photos or flying videos. I want to share the whole journey. Sharing the lessons that go well, the ones that don’t, the challenges of training, and the moments that remind me why I wanted to become a pilot in the first place.
