Audio Rattle

As the title says, I’ve noticed that when I’m clicking on the engine there’s some kind of noise that doesn’t appear on all models, for example, the A333 doesn’t have a noise.

I tried restarting my ipad but no change. This sound turns into a rustling sound after it’s started and continues until the engine is turned off. I don’t know what to do to fix it, hopefully someone can help me out.

Device:IPAD 2021
Operating system. IPADOS 18.1

A screen recording uploaded to YouTube for an example would help a lot 👍

It could be APU Sound 🙃

I’m suspecting this could just be the default CFM56 sound. It has that kind of rustling. Could you try if it happens on the 777 and A380?

Okay~ i will paste the link below

hi,
here is the link for the video last time i flew with Cathay pacific A333.

I just opened a few more models to check and found no sound again. But it’s strange, hopefully there will be a solution to this.

I think that’s an audio glitch, the popping.

Uh that sound doesn’t sound strange to me. It’s the B777 sounds to the A330. There’s nothing wrong with that

Hello I have this same issue with iPad 9th Gen to fix this

Go to accessibility > Spoken Content

Just try to mess with Speaking Rate and Change it to normal as it was before.

Note: that you will have to do this before every flight.

This is an audio rattle issue that isn’t related to any aircraft engine.
All the app’s audio is affected on certain iPad models with iPadOS 18.
You will also hear this with just the background noise and with ATC.

In most cases this audio issue can be solved temporarily by triggering Siri.
The issue will return after restarting the app, so you’d need to trigger Siri each time.

If triggering Siri doesn’t work, try tapping the Speaking Rate slider, mentioned above by @Aviator_MoinYT.
You don’t have to change it, just tap it.

Hopefully triggering Siri will do the trick though.
