Sometimes the audio is a loud chattering, unusable, I try again in an hour might be ok been happening more often lately.

I figured a way to fix this, power off your device, and turn it on, it should work as it happens to me often, try that
The noise is rapid machine gun like clicking 5 or six times a second. It’s an apple iPad 9th generation , I did the restart as suggested no noise today so far,

Try triggering Siri.
