Audio Bug with Replays

Device: iPad Pro 12.9in (3rd gen)
Operating system: iPadOS 17.0.3

Noticed when watching old replays (any replays before 23.3) that the engine audio for the aircraft doesn’t play correctly. When engines are on, the sound they make is like if they were at 50-60% thrust and it stays like this no matter what thrust was actually used in the flight. This wasn’t a problem before the update, and it seems like new 23.3 replays are fine and play the accurate engine audio. Mentioned this in the 23.3 thread but didn’t see anyone else bring up this issue.

I have the exact same issue in replays, were some planes sound like they’re at 101% N1 or idle thrust when taxi, take off, cruise or landing. Currently on iOS 17.0.3 on the iPhone 14 Pro.

Able to reproduce this issue on my IPhone 14 Pro Max. Running IOS 17.1 beta.

Replay tested is from march 2023

Thanks for the report, this was one of the bugs we fixed in 23.3. Unfortunately, old replays will continue to have this data as it wasn’t being sent to the replay file correctly.

This is the same issue as other people in multiplayer having 50% thrust engine sounds. That will be fully resolved once everyone upgrades to 23.3
