Attempting to break the Bombardier Challenger 350 Distance Record (Again)

I’m currently just over 3 hours into a 13 hour journey in the Challenger 350, for what will be a 8000nm journey. If I am able to complete this, this will be on par with the real life Bombardier Global 7500 distance record of 8100nm (Singapore to Tuscon, AZ). I’m currently flying a similar route (Sydney to Dallas, TX), so follow along with my journey if you want.

Here’s a reference photo for where I am

I’ll put the NTSB Go Team as well as Pacific Search and Rescue on Standby

in all seriousness - good luck!

Thanks, and I’m most likely to crash over Arizona because my data only gives me 12 hours of fuel, and I have not explored the 13 hour range yet

Good news / bad news. Work is keeping me until around 1am which is still technically out before the projected 2am landing. But since I’m working in New York right now, I gotta take the train (since its quicker than any car on an NYC street) back to my hotel. New Yorkers know how much of a gamble NYC subway internet/wifi is, so hopefully work is out at exactly 1am

Just got out, going to be at the hotel in less than 30 minutes

I DID IT!!! I made it so this plane can fly for 14h+. I’ll definitely be landing, I’m actually so happy right now

You can use the AP+ fuel burn glitch.

Oof… that is painful

I think my six would be a little sore after flying the CH350 anything over 4 hours. In all seriousness what was your cruise configuration as I am doing some range tests on a some of the aircraft I fly a lot. These tests will be to aid my overall flight planning. Already have a Airspeed/altitude/Mach number chart for quick reference for decent transition from Mach to IAS.

There’s two glitches I’m using simultaneously

What glitch are y’all even talking about?

With 25.1 version release, AP+ would not count fuel
Consumption. Meaning if you took off with 100% of fuel, left AP+ running for max time (48 hours) came back, your fuel level will still be 100% and then you can re-do the cycle and have crazy flight time.
