I’ve seen some Instagram accounts dedicated to demanding this aircraft. It’s a great plane, but that’s not how this works :) It will get the same consideration as every other aircraft we build.

And be careful not to burn your own tongue. If I remember correctly, the ATR72 was in second place in that vote that you did which the b777 won by very few votes. I just want to remind you of this …
Yes, thank you for the warning. My comment was specifically directed at people who are demanding aircraft. Since there are many factors at play which we’ve discussed tirelessly, that’s the only point I wanted to make.

I mean, the whole purpose of a feature request is asking for an aircraft or feature. That’s why we have the voting system. However, I totally get any devs getting tired of the demanding and begging that seems to happen on social media. Here it’s contained to a single topic.

Asking is always appreciated 🙂This is the purpose of the voting system, and the polls that we issue from time to time.
Just for a bit of perspective here since I was reminded of the poll we issued (which is only one part of the decision-making process), here are the current feature requests, ordered by most votes at the top:
- Taxiway lights: This has been announced as in-development and requires project metal to complete and implement. If you need votes, I’d unvote that one and take a vote back - this one is happening.
- 3D buildings: Same thing.
ATR-72 is up there for sure. I’d love to see this one added, but it is by no means the most popular in the grand scheme of things. A little food for thought.

We seriously need the ATR in IF, both this and the 72 variant would be amazing to have. I have to say I would slightly prefer this variant though, for those Loganair hopper routes from Belfast and Dundee 🤤

Would love to see Toki air on this when it comes out. Toki air is a airline based in Niigata, Japan. It is due to launch in 2022. I couldn’t find any pics from it though. They are going to start with 2 ATR 42-600s and 2 ATR 72-600s.
