A AtlasGlobal A320 made an emergency landing at Istanbul Ataturk Airport due to heavy weather. Here are some pictures and one video that shows the landing. The plane made an emergency landing because a lightning hit the nose of the aircraft and damaged it.

That was a fast landing, anyone know at what speed the aircraft landed at?
I bet that lightning messed up the A/P and navigation systems

Yeah that could make sense. That’s some super heavy rain, unless the windshield was already busted up. I would think some hail had to be in there in order to break a car windshield. Maybe our windows have different specs.
