So as the title suggests, why does ATIS not exist in training server, shouldn’t it exist for people to get familiarized with how to fly in airport trafic?
I’ve started practicing ATC and I found a lot of instances where pilots wanting to land the opposite side of departure runways and theydon’t really listen when I instruct them to change runways.
Yes ATIS would be nice for training server but I don’t think the staff will think the same since the training server is for training and people might not like the idea that they can’t choose what runway want since they might want to practice on that specific runway to practice.
For example:
ATIS is in the training server and I want to practice visual approaches on Runway 34 at YMML but the ATIS says I have to use Runway 27 and that I will have to expect the ILS approach. So now I can’t practice my visual approaches.
I think this would fit in the features category
Then how would I communicate to the pilot that’s conflicting with current traffic flow at the airport? Especially when busy and there are many aircrafts taking off and landing.
You can set them a heading and/or altitude to get them out of the way.

Exactly, people would misuse it, and it doesnt really matter since a lot of pilots on the training server dont care about the ATIS, we even see this in the Expert Server.
