I was flying a couple of times today on mostly the expert server. On my first flight, I was responding to the tower and suddenly the ATC sound cut off. I checked the ATC volume level and it was full. To be clear, I can still hear engine noise, flaps, etc. but not ATC. Does anyone have similar problems?
I don’t notice this issue, but were you connected to the server/ATC?
First of all, make sure your device is not on silent. This issue has happened to me before, but I was using PIP to watch YouTube, and then the sound cut it off from IF to only ATC sound.
I was connected to the server and I could hear sound from other aircraft, I could see the atc text on the top of my screen and I was communicating with them fine, it’s just that there was no sound
Silent mode was off
Sometimes you’ve just got to restart your device fully in order for you to hear ATC again.
Reset your ATC audio. Go to Settings > Online > [Default Voice], then re-select your desired audio profile.
This issue sometimes happens when you have a full-screen notification, like a phone call.
I restarted my iPad and it worked! Thanks for the suggestion :D
