There’s definitely room for improvement. Don’t be afraid to tell people when to turn base, extend downwind, and go around. Having two pilots land on top of each other is very unprofessional (especially when there were only there pilots doing patterns). There was also pilot error too. They should have not turned base at the same time when they both knew they were close together. And, at least call a go around when you see another plane on the runway while you are on final… Like I said, there’s room for improvement. And remember that GA aircrafts go much slower than a private jet.

My feedback CPT-JVO

  • No need to tell me make right/left traffic once you’ve told me before takeoff… The direction doesn’t change, so just tell me Cleared for the option and I know what to do!
  • You should have told Rowdy to go around… I was on the runway when he passed the threshold. @IFFG_Rowdy_Kepler you need to go around, if not told by Tower do it yourself!
  • Same for me! I was 100 feet above the RW and had to go around myself. You need to tell me that when you see that the plane on the RW needs some time
  • When we were both taking off tell him to extend upwind, to maintain seperation and to avoid a crash
  • Sequencing has to come way earlier
  • When I requested for landing Full stop, don’t give me another learning clearance, Cleared for option includes touch and go and full stop

Work on these things, watch the YT tutorials and you will get there… You have definitely have the basics.

Weather was terrible, my first go around was due to wind, not because of testing you

Also Note that It’s ok for people to cut in line!!! If they are faster than the GA aircraft!

We were just testing his abilities and how he would react… We wanted to hear extend down/upwind… But it never came so we looked like noobs :)
