This isn’t ‘a request’ however would anybody else find a “Unable, Runway X is closed” command helpful for aircraft who keep requesting a runway that is either closed due to weather or pattern work and don’t listen to instructions to land on the runway in use. It’s quite annoying, especially when you can see the runway is closed, and which runways are in use on the map and when you use FPL.

This would be good, but it is a little unnecessary because you can just send them somewhere else.

That’s my point though… it shouldn’t be necessary but often pilots just keep requesting even after after being cleared to land at the correct runway, or told in any other way, because they are fixed on landing on their originally planned runway. And often they still just land on that runway.

I remember seeing an unable button for ATC.
Yeah there is an unable button, but the aircraft still doesn’t understand that the runway is closed and not that we just don’t want them to land there, which is often why they keep requesting to land on that runway. Maybe this could be added as a subcommand of ‘unable’ :)

Actually you have such a command, but just on Approach…
If for example:
Air 1234, requesting ILS Approach, Runway xx
you go vector- Radio vector- runway you want…
It will respond with:
Air 1234, requested runway is closed, expect vectors for runway xx

Pilots on the ground should be clever enough to taxi to the right runway. Its understandable that they may do this on the training server but the command isn’t necessary.
It’s not hard to direct them back to the proper departure runway anyway
As @anon43874684 was saying, a command similar does exist though it’s only for airborne pilots.

Yes so when a noob lands with no gear and stays there we can have a command that will solve that
Um… That’s a completely different subject. If a pilot lands on the runway and doesn’t move he or she will get a vio, or be ghosted if its expert.
What? Do you mean if he lands without gear and stays on the runway? Give him an exit runway command, followed by a follow instructions…if any plane stil comes in, give a go around…
And if you are on trainingserver…just throw your head in the air and have a good laugh…

yea…i got that…he should respawn or get out of the session…
At this point we ATC don’t have the resources or commands for doing these sorts of things like emergency landings. So it’s best just to fly normally.
If your that desperate to perform tricks or emergencies visit the casual server.

Are we talking about TS or expert?
When on TS there is nothing you can do against stuff like that…try work around…there isnt a solution for this…every situation is different…
