IFATC controllers are volunteers, so they’re not required to control specific airports or aircraft unless in special cases. They also need to control for a minimum of one hour. If you’re hoping for IFATC at a certain airport, I’d suggest organizing an event. It’s a great way to get controllers involved!

I know that. Event has also been organized way back. our ATC ditched us last minute lol

I get how that can be really frustrating, sorry that happened, Since IFATC is all volunteer-based, sometimes things come up last minute.
