Hello!
I am practicing my ATC skills at KBWI. If anyone could come to help me practice that would be great.
Thanks.

Right now?
Yes! If anyone is available.
I will join in next 10 minutes. Come online
Okay! I am already online! Thanks!
Coming now!

A few things
• I called for takeoff “remaining in the pattern” on 28 you gave me “clear for takeoff”. Which I should’ve gotten was “clear for takeoff make left traffic”
• B-LSA was also on 28, I should’ve been sequence behind him. As number 2 traffic to follow is on “final or left base.”
Overall good work, thanks for the service
KBWI is closed! If you have anymore feedback please tell me.
Hello @General235
I’m the aircraft with callsign B-LSA.
First, thanks for the ATC service; here is my feedback from the session.
Before opening any frequency for training, I recommend choosing an airport with parallel-only or single runways; avoid any intersecting runways, as they require a different technique to control than parallel runways. So, for KBWI, use either 15R and 15L (33L and 33R) only, or only 28 (10).
Correct transition altitude at 3000 ft: 2500 ft + 145 ft (airport elevation) = 2645 ft, and round up to 3000ft.
All traffic requests inbound regardless of FPL; you must issue a pattern entry when there isn’t a radar controller providing radar service. I should receive “enter left runway 15R downwind” or “enter right downwind runway 28,” as you seem to be using. ATC Manual | 3.3 Inbounds
When issuing traffic direction, usually if there isn’t any restriction like terrain, R runway will make right traffic and L runway will make left traffic; this avoids traffic having to cross over the other runway at upwind and final (15R makes left traffic, meaning I have to cross over 15L’s upwind and final. ATC Manual | 3.3 Inbounds
While I was on final, you reassigned me to 28 from 15R, which, by clearing me for 28, is incorrect. In this case, you should first issue a go-around for 15R, then change runways by issuing a pattern entry so the pilot knows where to enter the traffic pattern. So, issue “enter left downwind runway 28”. ATC Manual | 3.3 Inbounds
Every time after traffic completes a touch-and-go, you have to sequence them and clear them for landing again in every pattern. I recommend my recruits not wait until final, because you will not remember, you won’t have time, and other things may be happening.
You don’t have include traffic direction (make right/left traffic) in every clearance only needed in takeoff clearance if pilot choose to remain in the pattern or first clearance to that runway (usually first clearance after pattern of entry).
At 16:11:59, you issue a clearance with sequence as number 2; if traffic is not number 1 in the pattern (meaning first in line to land), you will have to include sequence like "Number 2, traffic to follow is on left downwind.
Great work today, but still need some more practice and understanding of the knowledge, I recommend going through the ATC Manual again as the SOP maybe slightly differ from other flight sim. Also you can watch this prefect test from Tyler: [Prefect Test](https://youtu.be/h6vvTq2yxuk} beware some method are slightly outdated
Hello!
I will review the ATC manual and watch the video. Thank you for the detailed feedback.
N101RT
Ground:
-No D&P (Drag & pushback)
-No D&T (Drag & taxi)
It is recommended to use D&P and D&T for an airport that supports those two especially if there’s traffic.
Tower:
-Same issue as I-DRAY, I also called for takeoff remaining in the pattern and I’ve gotten “cleared for takeoff” instead.
-No sequence number (I was number 2)
-No clearance (Clearance should’ve been “clear for the option, Runway 15L”)
Overall, not bad performance! Just continue working on managing ground with routing and potential conflicts more proactively. I do also recommend you taking a mentorship course at ATC Mentorship Hub , they will help you improve a lot, just like me!

Feedback:
I called “ready for Take off remaining in the Pattern” but you only cleared me for take of without a pattern entry. You should have send "cleared for take of after take of make right/left traffic. Without a pattern entry pilots don’t know where they should fly.
When I was on downwind you didn’t cleared me, I had to report my position and inbound for touch and go. When a airplane remains in the pattern it won’t call inbound or report position. You have to clear them by your self, no matter if it is already on the cross wind turn or on downwind. IMPORTANT if airplanes are inbound on final from a other airport they will call inbound and you have to clear them.
I was on left base rwy 15 left and requested the change to rwy 15 right. What you MUST do is deny my request/ if approved: Pattern entry in this case "enter left base rwy 15 right, sequence (if necessary), and Clarence. Now what you did: “Roger”. On final I reported again my position but instead of doing the steps listed up again you just said “roger”, so I had to go around.
With every clearance you gave me you gave me a pattern entry too: “cleared for the option after the option make left/right traffic”. This is not necessary, you only have to give a pilot a pattern entry once. Departing traffic REMAINING IN PATTERN: cleared for take of make left/right traffic/Inbound airplanes: “enter XX(pattern) of rwy XX”
All together: you need a lot more practice and if you don’t already did read the IFATC manual. There is nearly everything explained you need to know. If you applied for IFATC better start now!
Still overall you were ok but need practice. Thanks for controlling and I hope.we see us again
Thank you! I will read and practice.
Is anyone available? I would like to practice what I have learned from yesterday.
Did you open? I recommend posting where you are practicing prior to opening in the following format:
OPEN @ ICAO CODE
And then staying open for an hour
Check my thread for examples
I will open in 20 min at EDDF Training server I would appreciate it very much if you show up
I will be there.
Sorry! I got disconnected from the game.
Yeah, I saw it no problem. Thanks for showing up, was very busy today for someone who normally gets max 3 planes on frequency.
You did a great job! That was fun!
