Atc on training server

Hi there. I read some posts that state that you cannot report a user on the training server. I’m controlling JFK right now (ground & tower) and have been using runways 4L and 4R for departure and arrival. I had a person that requested taxi to an inactive runway so I instructed them to taxi to the active runway. They asked for the inactive runway again, and I instructed them to taxi to the active runway again. At this point they tuned out of my frequency then proceeded to taxi to the runway they wanted including crossing the active runway. Is there any recourse for the controller in situations like this? Eventually I cleared them for take off from the runway they wanted because I didn’t really have any other options. They were going to do what they wanted to do.

I’ve experienced that to, and that’s why it’s called “the training server”. It’s for pilots and ATC who are learning for the expert server. I think the only thing you can do is possibly contact the pilot, but other than that there isn’t anything really

I apologize that you experienced this during your training server ATC session, however if you would like a more professional ATC session, why not consider joining the IFATC Expert server ATC.

If you are interested in applying but do not meet the requirements and wish to practice this is a good option for you, pilots and members of the IFATC Team will see this and will come to help you. If you wish to take this route I recommend only opening parallel runway airports with very little to no traffic.

I don’t, I didn’t really discover the IFC until recently but I will definitely create one now! Up until now I’ve been basically just getting lucky finding airports with activity
