Someone entered the EGLL tower atc 17 hours ago and is simply offline the whole time. How to proceed?

Hey,

If you are completely sure that the controller is no longer online. Try to refresh the game as the status and information shown might outdated and old.

  • Try changing the server, waiting a moment and then reselecting the same server and see if the frequency is now available. Or put Fly mode, select an aircraft and the go back to the ATC tab.

  • If that doesn’t work leave the app and open it again.

  • Last resort should be a device restart.

Yes, i see he in tower since last night, i fly for two hours, open and close the game some times and continue something. I entry in airport for check and dont have response, just pilots messages :(

I’ve just been completing Touch and Go’s at London Heathrow. The user has been an active tower for 17+ hours. But not clearing any pilot’s take offs or landings. This needs the attention of management to end his session.

A lot of pilots are getting agitated and annuoed waiting. I was active for 30+ minutes, and no one in that time was cleared

Really? Normally controllers are automatically kicked from the session if they don’t respond to a pilots request within the 60 seconds warning shown on screen.

Yes. That’s what i can’t understand. How he hasn’t been kicked. It’s very frustrating when you’re in line for T/O and can’t as no one has been cleared in a lengthy period

Oops, forgot the IF Discord doesn’t have the option to raise a Support Ticket. I am sure a staff member or someone who can help will see this topic eventually. Sorry for that!

Is it possible a controller can stay online even though he isn’t responding to pilot requests? Maybe he’s opening each request as it comes in, then just doesn’t respond?
