ATCMH is an independent, third-party group dedicated to helping aspiring IFATC obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to control the Expert Server skies. We assist with written exams, practice sessions, and mock practicals to prepare you for the IFATC local written and practical exams. We are not officially affiliated with the IFATC recruitment process.

Infinite Flight ATC (IFATC) is a group of motivated and qualified Air Traffic Controllers that provide ATC services on the Expert Server. Upon passing a written and practical exam, IFATC members can control anywhere in the world while progressing through a rank system. IFATC prioritizes realistic and efficient quality service. Click here to learn more about the IFATC Recruiting process.

Written Exam Help

If you are struggling with understanding questions on the written exam, you can request help and a Mentor will guide you through them while giving you a clear explanation to ensure you understand the knowledge.

Mentor Sessions

If you wish to become better at controlling, specifically in preparation for the practical exam, you can request a Mentor who will show you everything from applying knowledge to controlling techniques.

Mock Practical

If you believe that you’re ready for the practical exam but want one last check of your skills, you can request a mock. Mock Practicals will mirror the practical exam to ensure you have a solid understanding of all applicable knowledge and skills. If you do not have prior experience, enrolling in Mentor Sessions may be a better option.

We are unable to offer radar preparation services.

There are no requirements to join our server as a guest or a pilot, however those who would like to use our services in preparation for joining IFATC must meet the following requirements:

  • Trust Level 1 on IFC

  • At least 14 years of age

  • Grade 3 with Expert Server access

  • Minimum of 500 ATC operations

  • Current IFATC recruit

  • All-time stats do not exceed 50% Level 1 Violation to landing ratio

  • At least 60 days since last Level 2 or 3 Violation

To ensure the highest quality services possible, all mentors have shown a deep understanding of IFATC knowledge and procedures and dedication to the controlling community. We are highly confident in our teams ability to assist you across the finish line.

To apply, start by joining our Discord Server. Once there, you can open a ticket to request a mentor, seek help with the written exam, or proceed directly to a mock practical test.

After submitting the subsequent questionnaire, our team will review your responses to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements. If all requirements are met, you will be assigned a mentor. If not, you’ll be encouraged to continue to work towards meeting the requirements and we’d be happy to assist once you become eligible.

Not interested in improving your controlling skills? No worries! You are still welcome to join us as a guest or as a pilot. Our sessions count on pilots from the community to help out, so any contribution is greatly appreciated. Additionally, you may use the server to meet others to control or fly with, regardless of your grade or skill level!

The community deserves the best ATC service possible. If you agree with me, please support the ATCMH by sharing it with others, flying for the mentees and even applying yourself.

Absolutely awesome team! I also learned how to ATC here and couldn’t be more thankful to @Scot_McGough for teaching me and being patient with me at all times. There’s no better place than this to become an IFATC with professional skills in light speed.

Being a pilot is also pretty nice! You learn a lot about ATC instructions and how to follow them appropriately. This improves your flying skills on ES a lot. Lovely side effect: You’re collecting a lot more landings for the grade system of IF and meeting some of the most helpful people in this community. @JeppyG

Of course you should. I see you around doing ATC on TS. You’re missing a lot by not trying out IFATC. If you love being ATC anyway, do it on ES. :slightly_smiling_face:

I recommend you apply for a VO for this, it could really create a unique organisation for once.
