Hello , i was flying the fist two legs of the world tour but when i was on approach for both flights the controller kept making me change heading while in ils capture area makinf me not following runway heading and he left mr at 4000 feet agl and o was supposes to be at 3000 to capture localiser which made me do two missed approaches it was really frustrating
Hi! I’m sorry that this happened to you. I totally understand the frustration when controllers do things that don’t make sense at all. You could try DMing the controller here and ask them what their intentions were and what caused the issues.
I am having a similar issue with unreliable controllers… specifically tower. I am now on my third approach into PDX. The first time I never received clearance to land causing me to execute a missed approach on short final. I then had no vectors or further assistance on the missed approach. After announcing to the new controller that I was on left downwind I was told I would be told when to turn base. I never recieved that message. During this time I maintained a safe distance from all aircraft. I am not upset with the second controller as they got thrown into the mix and there was an abundance of traffic. This is still by far the worst experience I’ve had on Infinite Flight.
That being said there were plenty of aircraft that were not practicing the realism that the expert server advertises. Also, I just want to give a major compliment to the controller that took over Tower. They took over a large task and became very organized… great job to that controller!!
I would contact the controller directly to ask for their intentions. Remember, their frequencies can get busy. All about patience.
But if i contact him how will he like remember one aircraft of hundreds of aircrafts
They do remember, when you describe the situation.
I also have had contacted some ATC and we had nice conversations which explained everything.
Don’t judge, before you even tried.
Yeah, that’s really frustrating, But I think stuff like that can happen when there’s a lot of traffic and ATC gets busy. Had something similar happen to me as well.
