Was found some digging and found this feature request:
Which seems to be requesting that pilots be able to create their own taxi route. It could be used to then do intersection departures.
Obviously the caveat for this is when there is ATC and “no intersection departures” is in the ATIS - there would need to be a way to essentially block pilots choosing intersection holding points.
