ATC frequency synchronization bug

After contacting Ground and receiving taxi instructions, I was instructed to switch to Tower. I tuned to the correct Tower frequency, and the frequency section showed that I was connected to Tower. However, when I requested departure clearance, the controller kept telling me to switch to Tower as if I was still on Ground. I retuned to Tower multiple times, but the issue persisted and I was eventually disconnected by ATC. I also tested this at multiple airports with the same result, so it doesn’t seem airport-specific.

This is a bug I’ve had in the past when controlling.

Did you just tune direct to tower from ground? If you did, if you tune out of all frequencies completely and then tune to tower it should work

3rd Instance of my live atc communication error

Just for everyone’s information: We are aware of this issue affecting a small subset of our users and have been looking into it. Here’s the problematic part: the users affected by this are almost exclusively located in India, using service providers such as JIO and Airtel.
