ATC frequencies not being present

Hi today at StPetersburg I got a freak bug. There was a tower frequency which then went offline. I held short of the runway thinking it was a controller change until I got. Please contact tower, at that point I started to record because something funny was up. I uploaded the incident to YouTube. What is one supposed to do, is it fixable within the session or must I log out?
I am sorry to the current ground ATC at the time RyanYeo. I suppose he had tower as well.
