I wanna make a flight to EDDF soon and i see almost 200 approaches. What is the minimum distance i have to travel so they wont deny me? What i mean is if i spawn 10 miles away they will deny me but if i do a long haul they wont. So whats the minimum distance they wont deny me?
Well, i’d say 50-100nm. Anything less is so called “local flying”. Controllers aren’t to fond of pilots taking off cutting into their line.
You have to do a real flight, don’t go shoot out of some grass airfield right into the airspace.
My flight was way above 250nm
Lol. In a 777 and then expect a straight in approach.
Ok so international only then ig?
Haha no i dont do that its just an example :)
I was doing a real flight and not any random flight. Plan Distance 379 NM. It will take me 1:13 mins to complete. This is not out of some grassfield which I took off from
No, you could fly from other routes like Munich, it wouldn’t be in the FNF recommendations lol
Please contact your controller as stated in the other topic.
Ok, shall do that. Thanks for your support
Uh so a flight from heathrow i will be fine then
Well, yes, it’s more tham 50 miles away.
EDDM doesnt have ATC atm thats why :)
Well, anything out of 50 miles, go ahead. EGLL Works.
You can still fly the route.
Ofc i can its just more fun with ATC from point to point. U know?
Oops i misread the question, i suggest you EIDW-EDDF, as ATC just opened there :)
Thats maybe just a bit too long just tryna make a small hop before my test but ty for suggestions :)
