Long story short, I was doing a flight from Barcelona to New York, and LEBL was quite traffic, so myself alongside others have been waiting in the takeoff queue for a WHILE. I’m finally next in line, and mind you, I did not request for takeoff yet as there was another plane still on the runway. As the other plane was cleared for takeoff and started rolling, ATC instructed me to line up and wait, which I began moving forward as it was clear. BEFORE I even ENTERED the runway, ATC sends a message and says “you were not cleared to enter the runway, please exit the runway.” and I IMMEDIATELY received a LEVEL 3 VIOLATION.
Never in my almost 10 years of Infinite Flight have I ever experienced something like this nor received a level 3 violation.. I was even working on my landings to reach Grade 4 and here we are…
I will keep the ATC’s name censored but I will definitely take it up with staff when I have the chance. I’m sorry but it’s not only frustrating, it’s ridiculous. Could have easily looked at previous messages instead of instantly giving a violation…
