ATC comms - Training server

I’ve been doing some ATC operations on the training server and I just don’t understand what some people are doing. Either getting a few who absolutely refuse to contact ATC, or when they do, proceed to completely ignore any instructions. So then…why join a server with ATC at all? What am missing?

Same with me. I try to make their experience nice aswell but they ignore.

Unfortunately that is how the training server works. If you want a better experience join the IFATC!

Training server is either filled with people who have 1 year violations or beginners neither group can fly very well.

I have a 1 year violation

Unfortunately, the environment of the training server is like this. If you want to experience better ATC control, please join IFATC and conduct control on the expert server.

Those people will be a disaster after coming to the expert server, won’t they?

That’s really unfortunate. I’m very sorry to hear that.
Wish you could return soon!

I do agree with our point, unfortunately mostly beginners are flying and are not to sure how to contact/communicate ATC but it’s Normal even I wasn’t good but I have seen them crashing to others aircraft in my recommendation they should be disconnected from the server but Violation will be too harsh.

Cheers :clinking_glasses:

The training server is extremely helpful for beginners to get familiar with the ATC system, as there are not too severe penalties here. However, this also comes with drawbacks. I fully agree with your view that mistakes are inevitable during the learning process, but those who deliberately disrupt flight order need to be kicked out.

No worries it was a year ago and now I’m back 2 grade 3! (But no pro subscription for me) :frowning:
