ATC-command : "Willco" ?

Just recently I was tuned to ATC ground. When the pilot in front of me was asked to ‘hold short’ of the runway he replied “Willco”.

“Willco”…?
Is that a regular ATC command. Am i missing something again 😳

It means “will comply”. It appears in a few commands, but isn’t used that often

I only believe “Wilco” is said when they are told to cancel take off or to execute missed approach. As Nick said, it means “will comply”. When ATC tells you to hold short, you reply with “holding short” etc., not “wilco”.

The only place where you get Wilco in IF (I think) is when a controller cancels your takeoff clearance (as an acknowledgment)
