I noticed that while flying on a busy airport, the ATC audio stopped working while the other game sounds were working. Due to this I don’t couldn’t respond right away to ATC instructions and got a violation. I tried putting the game in background and opening again don’t work, logged out of ATC ground and connected again still no use. Strange enough the replay has full audio.
Device: iPhone 15 plus
Operating system: IOS 26.3.1(a)
I have encountered the same problem. Other games only need to switch to the background when encountering this problem, but IF must restart the game.
For me iPad OS 26.5 and 26.4, iPad Pro M4
(I remember the same problem on the earlier ipadOS)

In fact, the headphone symbol will flash amber after getting the instructions. When the audio is lost, we need to pay more attention to the flashing and the top text.

Yes I agree about the flashing message, I was little confused why just the ATC audio went so was trying to check that, putting game in background and stuff so missed the flashing was my bad. Anyways my appeal was turned down but that’s fine. Hope the devs fix the issue.

Well they may have their priorities and things to add fix first but hope it makes it to their backlog
My device is an iPad Pro M4. In this case, neither IF nor Apple has included my device in the “Elimination/Outdated Device List”
It has nothing to do with this. It’s mainly sound here. I guess it’s a correlation between IF and iOS.

I would agree with you if I hadn’t faced the same issue on my Android device. Let me explain: when I tune in or contact ATC, I don’t get any communications or voice audio. Also, if I reply on my own, they don’t receive my transmission. If they ask me to contact them, I only hear a voice when I tune in, but I don’t see any comms. Because of this, I received a violation.
