If I’m not mistaken in real world aviation most airports at least in europe have an arrival rush in the morning and departure rush at noon. Is this the same in IF or when are the most busiest times at airports? Is it different at different airports or around the same Zulu time every day?

The traffic patterns are a bit unusual at the moment because of the World Tour that is currently going on, but typically the busier period is between (from my observance anyway) 1900-0300z when its the afternoon/evening periods for Europe and North America.

I know at cyyz they have about 4 rushes a day. First thing in the morning 0630L to 0900L the lunch rush 1100L to 1300L thr mid afternoon 1500 to 1800L and the evening rush from 2000L to 2230L. Mind you that was pre covid, not sure if its like thar now. Overnight it was mainly cargo departing with the odd non cargo arrival and departure.

Yeah it’s still like that except the lunch rush starts and ends a bit sooner now I think, when I spot there it’s always dead around 12 ish which makes it a good time to get some food

I used to plane spot near carlingview at the parking lot for the airport.

Yep been there, decent spot that one. It sucks how YYZ has gone downhill as a spotting place in the last 7 years.

Haven’t been out there in years. Had some Karen call the cops on me last time i wasthrre with my camera gear. BTW my profile pic and wallpaper pic are a couple of my shots i took with my D90 and processed to my liking

I’m assuming the pool of IF players are predominantly from Europe and North America so if that’s the case then the time overlap during non-work/ school hours would theoretically be the peak, which does indeed fall somewhere between 1700-0300Z.
It would be fun to see this data every month. Data showing the times when most players were online, as well as most departures during a given time and most landings in a given time of day, tracked for consecutive days.
The theoretical numbers are pretty fun to think about too. If the pool of the player base was predominantly from Asia, then we would see a shift in peak time to a couple hours earlier.
