As the title states, I would like to do a WW2 flyout, and don’t know if there is any 3D rendered WW2 era AFBs or bases where I could do the flyout?

In terms of World War II bases that are now defunct, they wouldn’t be in the game. However, for bases that still exists that once hosted aircraft during the war they will be in the game, but they won’t look like they did back then.

Do you have an example? This sounds like something you’d have to ask the airport editing team.
Don’t have access to the sim right now, but I’d give NM83 a try, that may get you close. (Not 3D rendered - sorry. Almost all the buildings have been torn down.)
