Are There Any Apps for Linking a Yoke that are Supported?

Hey everyone, I hope you are enjoying the new A330 update. After making my first landing with the new A330, my application unfortunately crashed :(.

Currently, I want to upgrade the device I fly on from a phone to an iPad, however I don’t like hand tilting the big screen. As an alternative, I have wanted to purchase a yoke for Infinite Flight. When looking into process of how to connect a yoke to infinite flight, I ran into a problem- it looks like the only app that was working is no longer supported, which is why I am asking, are there any other apps that can help connect my device to a joystick/yoke?

Thanks for the help :)

Live flight connect

It is no longer supported as of right now.

Are there any usb yokes/joysticks that can be plugged in directly?

I have been looking for those, but so far all I can find are those that connect to a PC.

You can use an Xbox controller and connect it wireless, but it’s very sensitive and wouldn’t really recommend. But if you really don’t like hand tilting, it’s a viable option that works well with IF.

Ive tried that, its even worse :/

LiveFlight Connect may not be “supported”, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. It might be worth giving it a try, it still works most times.

Another alternative is Map Connect, however I haven’t personally used this so I can’t vouch for it:

I have been using Live Flight Connect for the last 4-5 years on pretty much every flight. I love it and use it together with a T Flight Hotas X joystick-throttle, simbrief, fpltoif.com, checklists etc.

You can download LFC to a windows PC (as I use for it) or you can download it as an app on a Mac.

@Cameron has done an amazing work with it and I just have to thank him again for allowing me to have an even more realistic flight experience for the last 4-5 years. From 2012-13 to 2015 I used an iPhone to hand fly with.

You might be looking for something like Fly-by-Wire. It lets you use the tilt-controls on your phone as a yoke while you fly on your iPad or other tablet.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

I will definitely keep all of them in mind, especially this one, as it is the cheapest option.

Yeah, it totally is lmao

The devs at MapConnect have announced that they are working on improvements, possibly ready by around September - just letting you know.

Okay, thanks for the support, I think the only way to find out is to try it out. Amazon has returns anyways…

I’m actually gonna try and sync my wii remote 😂
