Why Lima?

Lima is interesting for many reasons, besides being the main connecting point to Cusco and Machu Picchu. With the Andean mountain range nearby, the city is full of color and culture. With strong Inca ancestry, it boasts numerous historical sites and museums, including a pyramid in the Miraflores district. To imagine a trip to Lima is to envision what tourists might see there, beyond the beautiful Andean landscape, a blend of browns and blues due to its location on the Pacific coast in western South America.

Smiles Travel Tour

A project created by GOL Intelligent Virtual Airlines to promote traffic at the airports served by the company, including airports served through realistic codeshares, inspired by the Smiles frequent flyer program. The tour takes place on VA’s internal server and is an edition promoted at IFC - Let’s enjoy it together!

The event is a Fly in mode within the 12-hour period on Sunday, April 19th. GLVA promotes Smiles airlines, but invites all airlines and community members to explore the Latin American region. Lima has connections to over 70 cities in the Americas and Europe. Plan your flight and enjoy a place with unique views!

Since i’m currently doing a series where i’m streaming United flights every day throughout april to celebrate the airlines 100th anniversary which is today, i’ll join in right when the event starts. Do a short flight there and then do my United stream afterwards. Most likely UA886, EWR-LIM on the 757-200. See ya there @GOL_Intelligent_VA
