Note: Not to be confused with some guy who called ALS Automatic Landing System lol

What is the approach landing system all about?

I do know what approach lighting system and instrument landing system is although not sure for this one, please tell me :D

Yes, as I said I do know what the approach lighting system is but I have never heard of approach landing system.
