Approach light poles (3D object)

I know that the approach light will be added sometime in the future, but before that, I think it’s a good idea to have the light poles first in 3D airports.

Though they might not be lighted up at this time, it also helps adding realism when flying approaches at daytime. And when project metal is completed the lights can be turned on at those poles.

These lights and other airport and environmental lightning will most likely be introduced in Project Metal, so I don’t see too much reason to make this feature request, regardless it’s a great feature we must have in IF.

I’m not asking about light, but the light poles as a 3D object.
The reason? When the light is introduced we won’t see it coming out from the ground 😂

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t there already light poles coming out of the ground? They were added when 3D airports were introduced. There are also lights already on the poles, they just haven’t been activated yet because they aren’t ready.

There’s localizers and light poles on the tarmac, but no light poles along the approach path yet. I think this request is valid

With the recently announced changes to the feature request category, this feature no longer meets the following criteria:

  • 3D airport/object requests are currently not allowed (including airports, ATC facilities, buildings and objects etc.)

Due to this, this feature request has been closed and all votes returned to their users so that they can be used to vote on other features they would like to see in-app. For more information on what is permitted, please visit the About the Features Category.
