Approach/landing speeds updated with trimming

Ok so I’ve becomed more experienced with tge sim since my last landing speeds topic.
Here I’ll tell you the recommended weight and speed with also trimming and motion sensitivity for the airliners.

Sorry not sorry lol i dont fly narrow bodies, so i have no data for those.

Trimming helps keep the nose of the aircraft constant, since i frequently see pilots landing nose down, just incase youre thinking this isnt needed

These are average and suggested speeds for a smooth approach

Higher the pitch of the nose, slower the plane goes

When in high nose wind dont use trimming past 15+
In crosswinds use 30+ trimming to keep the nosd from dipping.

A330-300: 120-130kts @ 41% load minimum, if you go any lower in weight the plane will go way slower, trim @ 35+, full flaps, 3 flaps for faster landing speed. Nose should have a high pitch. Med-high sensitivity

A340-600: 125-135kts @ 37% load minimum, trimming @ 20+ Full flaps, 3 flaps for faster landing speed. Nose should have a medium pitch. Med-high sensitivity

A380: 135-145kts @ 35% load minimum , trimming 25+ Full flaps. Nose should have a medium pitch. High sensitivity

B747-200: 135-140kts @ 41% load minimum, trimming 45+ full flaps. Nose should have a medium pitch. Med sensitivity

B747-400: 145-150kts @ 45% load minimum, trimming 30+ Full flaps. Nose should have a high pitch. Med sensitivity

B747-8: 145-155kts @ 37% load minimum, trimming 30-40+ full flaps. Nose can have either a high or medium pitch. Med sensitivity

757-200: 120-125kts @ 45% load minimum, trimming 30-45 full flaps. Nose should have a medium pitch. Med sensitivity

B767-300: 135-150kts @ 45% load minimum, trimming 40 25*flaps. Nose should be high pitched. Med sensitivity

B777-200Er: 130-140kts @ 40% load minimum, trimming 25-30+ full flaps. Nose is to be low pitched. High sensitivity

B777F: 135-145kts @ 40% load minimum, trimming 25-30+ full flaps. Nose should be low pitched. High sensitivity

B777-300er: 140-155kts @ 35% load minimum, trimming 25-35+ full flaps. Nose should be low pitched or medium pitched. High sensitivity

These suggestions are based on the games physics not real world.

Aircraft shouldn’t be over max landing weights and shouldnt be too light, in order to get a realistic experience.

Have a fun flying experience

120-130 seems way too low for the A330, 120-130 is lower than a A320 lands.

That’s the actual landing speeds in real life. Sometimes even 115. You must be one of those people who land with your nose pointing downwards

I´m not… Tbh I highly doubt a A330 can land at 115

You’d be surprised thats what i used to think

I know this is real life, ususally the speeds are given to via a cdu. So even though the speeds are in between for a game like this they should be accurate. To be precisly accurate for a 777 the vref sped is usually 137

hey guys i’m new to the website and I have been playing the SIM on my iphone for quite a while now, but im still confused as to what TRIM is and how it’s used, can you guys help me out? lol

Welcome!

sweet, thanks a lot. :)
