Hi, Excuse my ignorance but I noticed that some airplanes do not include the approach button including the B737 series and some others, help me with the doubt?
It‘s one of the older aircrafts so it doesn‘t have approach mode😁
Commercial Aircraft with APPR include:
Yes, many of the older aircraft do not include approach mode. This is normal, no need to fret about it. They will, eventually, but personally, I like freehanded approach.
I would recommend to practice flying without the APPR, 1. Because it’s not included in all aircraft, so you can diversify, 2. Because real pilots don’t use it, and 3. It’s much more fun once you get the hang of it :)
Thanks normally I flew on B737 without the botton approach, I just had that curiosity and I am grateful for your answers to my question.
Maybe the rework will bring Approach mode to the 737?🤷🏼♂️🤔
I expect this
And 4. If you hit APPR after you’re configured even if you’re dead on the glide slope and localizer- get ready for a wild ride as APPR yanks you up or down and banks you left or right.
I’ve already experienced it a little brusque. lolz
They definitely need to fix the autopilot being that crazy…
