Ok, first off all, you should ask approach for ils/gps approach runway xx, atc will grant or send you to another runway…
If the tower tells u to fly to another runway, he should give you also a pattern you have to fly to…happens on PG?
Than option nr 3 skips in…them didnt know what them doing
No adv,i ask always for radar vector to xx and generally ATC said expect vectors to xx ranways x,but sometime just said expect vector to airp.xx
Happens all the time when APP isn’t me but someone so unloyal and just disappears after minutes… I understand your pain, as an ATC.
Cause you have to ask for ils/gps approach, radar vectores just guide you towards the airport…

Ok thank you,but for example app cleared you for r24l and you contact tower,he give you a clearance for r 24r?i want to know that app and tower are in tune?
Not on PG…, on advanced…not sure…
But if tower clears you for runway xx use this one, the other might been occupied…
For example if you request for 02C, yet I say cleared for 02L, it clearly means as @anon43874684 says, it’s occupied so yea just follow what the ATC says so he won’t have to be flamed for things not in his control…

Deal with it… I had many runway incursions because of those people.
Guys,of course i 'll do what tower said and I specified that I is only happened a few times … perhaps it would be useful to include in the items atc a command like “i’m Already cleared to rxl”, usually when switching from app to tower you call "inbound in the ils r xx but I repeat sometimes make you change runway at 'last moment and it becomes difficult to follow the instructions
